Be Prepared

One of the things the Boy Scouts of America is known for is their motto “Be Prepared.” For the Scouts, this statement means to be prepared to do your duty to God and country, to other people and to self.

We all prepare in different ways. Some people prepare for the worst. Some prepare for answers to their prayers. Some, do not prepare much at all. Your faith, or lack of it, is seen and known in how you plan and prepare. This year, prepare for your answers and anticipate with an attitude of gratitude. Our God is a good God!

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”

Deuteronomy 7:9, The Bible.

Make today great because you can!
